Often times sequels don’t hold up to the original. There are only a few cases of it happening successfully, and this is one of those times. The first one was so good and what every Deadpool fan deserved, you hoped that the sequel would be as good.
This movie made me laugh, cry and cringe all at the same time. I lived for the crazy amount of senseless graphic viloence that was in this movie. Normally I dont really like a lot of violence in movies, especially when it is so bloody and crazy, but for this movie, I’m ok with it. I also appreciate the humor of this movie. It really doesn’t take itself to seriously and has the kind of sarcastic humor that I live for. The more sarcasm, the better for me.
I also liked that they brought in some new characters that we can follow for future movies. I also really appriciated that (if you havent read the comics, like me) who you thought was the villian, wasn’t actually the real villian in the end. There really wasn’t a true villian in that sense. Everyone had something to get past in the movie and when you thought they were going down the worst road, something happened and everything was alright. There was really only one person that you hated at the end, and that was the head guy at the school. I think that was how everyone was by the end of the movie.
Overall I really enjoyed the movie and I can’t wait to see what Ryan Reynolds will do with Deadpool next. Whatever it is I am sure that it will be great and just as good as these last two.
